N.C My great grandfather Robert Alfonso Houston, son of John M.(above) was born 17 Apr 1867 in Mitchell Co. N.C.. His son, my grandfather, Robert Bryan Houston was b. 18 May 1897 in Mitchell Co. N.C. Some of Miles Murry Houston's are now in Cobb Co. S.C. Me and other members have been searcheing for this branch for years and finally found this family. William Henry Houston died before 1900 and I have not been able any of his decendents. Also I have some other decendents of Miles in this area. Hope this helps. So,i have no idea of her maiden name and if they by any chance had any children together.I believe they may have had 1 daughter together or this daughter could maybe have been his step daughter.In his obituary it lists a daughter named Mrs.Leonard Taylor of Doraville.Wally's second wife had died before him sometime before Nov. 1966.and Wally died in Ohio after living there for 15 years acorrding to his obituary Nov. 1966.My grandpa Wally Flemin Jones was took to Madison county,Georgia for burial beside his ! parents.He was buried @ 15 days after his death. If any one has information or photos of them i'd love a copy e mailed to me at deborahgarrett966@msn.com or heb20@alltel.net . Also,Can anyone in the area please go by the North Atlanta Memorial Park Cemetery and take a photo of Irene Jones and her children's grave beside of her.They are buried in the Garden of Prayer section .I've never been able to go to visit her grave,so this would be the next best thing for me.
