Mrs Susie Green, of Fair Mound, Ala., is visiting her father Mr Nathan Durham. Mr and Mrs Eli B Green had a family Christmas tree, and it was marvel to understand how Old Santa got down the chimney with such a load, but he works in a mysterious way his wonders to perform. Mrs Sam and Mrs Calvin Orr arrived here from Texas on the 22d ult., and will remain for some time, visiting relatives and friends. We are glad to welcome them back to old Georgia once more. Prof George Orr and family of Euharlee are visiting relatives here. Mr Ralph Kelpin was up from Atlanta to spend the holidays. I actively research this particular Northcutt family for two reasons: 1 - my husband's Johnson line married into this family and 2 - the wife of one of Elliott Moore Northcutt's descendants is a volunteer at my workplace. I have more info to share and will post on that later but did want to offer a correction: Alice Johnson was married to James Brown Northcutt, not Thomas Francis Northcutt. I'll be submitting the death notice for Mrs Alfred (Matilda Morris) Northcutt from The Marietta Journal shortly.
