    2. Hello listers, I researching my family in Appling County. In the course of my search, I came upon a hand-written Book of Genealogies, Appling County on a microfilm at the LDS family history center. There are supposed to be 2 or 3 volumes to this book. I have only found one. The book was printed and bound by Foote & Davies Co, in Atlanta, GA. Is there such a Company still in existence today and if so, can I reach them? Janet Nebraska

However, I'm not sure where they were born. I think my mother was born in Marietta, GA. I'm actually trying to trace their roots so have to start somewhere. My grandfathers name was William D. 2. Does anyone have information on Elijah L. DEAN (age 33, farmer) and Eliza FOWLER DEAN (age 25) who appear in the 1850 Cobb Co census with the following children: Cornelius, age 7 male John M, age 4 male Susah M. age 2, female Elijah was left an orphan at the age of 10 and lived with an uncle. I am trying to find the name of his parents and the uncle's name. Would also like the sibblings names. I found Wm, Mary and E.
