    1. John Nathaniel Brooks 1861 Marietta
    2. Gwen Brooks
    3. We have a death certificate for my husband's grandfather, John Nathaniel Brooks which shows his place of birth as Marietta, GA. He was born July 27, 1861 and died March 2, 1913 in Alabama. We have no more background information on him. We know he had two marriages but we think they both were in Alabama. However I'll list them just in case: He first married someone with the last name of Keener? Their children are Anderson Dee, born Feb.,1894 - Georgia Payne, (was Payne her Married name?). Born 1890 and died 1962 in Piedmont, Alabama - and Lillie Elliot (was Elliot her married name?). He then married Della A. Morgan, b. June 17, 1880 and died June 28, 1913. Her parents were probably Silas and Nancy Morgan both of Georgia and later Cherokee AL. They had four children. Savannah was born on July 21, 1902 and died April 9, 1907. Julius was born July 1, 1905 and died October 22, 1906. John Thomas, was born September 26, 1907, Wallace Curtis was born June 28, 1910 and died July 8, 1985. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who might recognize this family. Gwen Brooks

    1. Cemetery Lookup Request - Johns
    2. Lynne Ramsaur
    3. I have recently learned that Will Johns and his wife, Cindy, are buried in the cemetery at New Salem Baptist Church in Cobb County. I visited the cemetery about ten years ago, but at the time I did not know that Will was the son of Berry and Elizabeth Bruce Johns who are buried there. Berry's son and daughter-in-law, John Henry and Octavia Johns, are buried in this Johns plot. There is also a possibility of a daughter, Eva, in this plot. If anyone could do a cemetery lookup for me on Will and Cindy (and any other Johns I might have missed), I certainly would appreciate receiving the information. Thanks for your help.
