My great grandfather died in 1904, my great grandmother in 1931. I do not know the specific date on which they died or where they are buried. If you could look them I'd be grateful.     3. Hi, Cindy. Yes to the obituary question.� Both the Marietta Journal and the Cobb County Times carried those, at least to some extent. Some marriage notices in the "Society Section" if they were "in town"....otherwise only a mention of licenses issued in the legals.� Also the community news "dots" carried small write-ups of births, deaths and marriages in the individual communities. I have all Cobb County newspapers on microfilm up to about 1920.� If you will give me a death date, I will check to see if yours had an obituary.
