Clarke Volunteers Ligon 100 This militia of 100 men was raised to go to Columbus to fight in the Indian Wars of 1836.... Who is this Capt Ligon? Does anyone have his first name? Did anyone have ancestors that fought in this war? Many times the service was only 3 months and then they received bounty land and a pension in later years.
