Winterville City Cemetery, Section E Yerby, Mary J. 8 Sep 1832 - 19 Jun 1911, w/o R.W. Yerby [back of stone reads "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Matt. V, 8."] Yerby, Robert W. 26 Mar 1820 - 15 Dec 1891, s/o J.H. & M.J. Yerby, "Here rests a beloved husband and father." [ Masonic emblem] Yerby, R.S. 18 Jun 1860 - 26 Jul 1913, "His words were kindness, his deeds were love, his spirit humble, he rests above." Smith, Joseph C. 22 Feb ___ [1888?] - 28 Jun 1888, s/o J.H. Smith. "Our little Joseph has left us and gone to rest" [stone has been broken & mended] No Yerbys of any spelling were found in the transcriptions of Oconee Hill Cemetery made in 1994 (this survey is incomplete & only includes extant grave markers).
