The first bonus was that Samuel's mother, Catherine (nee Edwards) Norton, was also found there as well. The second bonus was that Samuel's sister Julia's marriage to Henry K. Cooper was given to me as well. The gentleman that helped also found out that Samuel's father was James M. Norton and gave me some info on him as well. How great is that! Now I'm going to seek out more info on James M. who died sometime before 1880 as Catherine was a widow according to the 1880 census. If anyone finds that their lines intersect with mine, feel free to email me and I'll share information with you. I knew that Samuel had married Ada Thaxton and I do have a copy of their marriage certificate. Thanks to some fantastic people, I found that the line back from her had already been done. A wonderful lady snail mailed me copies of Ada's lines. I would like to thank everyone for the help they have given. I have never encounter such friendly, helpful, and wonderful people as I have in my search for my ancestors. You all deserve a special place in Heaven!
