I've worked with the newspapers in the UGA Library (not in the Hargrett Manuscript Collection) in the past & what you're asking for would take many hours to find - search every newspaper in the Bainbridge area from 1887 onward to find an obituary for Jesse Wilder. If he remained in Decatur Co., GA, after he served in the GA House of Representatives, have you found any deed records or estate papers for him? That would be my first place to look for any record of his death. If he left Decatur Co., GA for points unknown, he probably sold his property & the deeds could give you clues there.
