Speaking of cemeteries in Clarke County: I am looking for the old Gann Cem which would be located (or was located if now destroyed) along Timothy Road between the Middle Fork of the Oconee and McNutt's Creek - cem may or may not have had any markers and would date from the early 1800's - Nathan Gann Sr bought the property in 1799 while still in Jackson County. Cem mentioned in deeds and family documents - burials up to about 1890 we believe. Does anyone have any clues as to where this cem might be? The original tract was about 300 acres but now full of subdivisions. Thanks Douglas R. Davis
