Thanks for the information, Douglas. Have you by chance compiled from these family records the burials that could have been made in this cemetery? The Athens Historical Society did a lot of work in the early 1990s trying to locate every cemetery in the county - the book of the marked graves was published in 1999. But there's no mention of the GANN cemetery off Timothy Road! Would appreciate that information to add to the files. I don't have a copy of the Oconee County Cemetery book handy to check to see if they found it. I did find these GANN markers in the Oconee Hill Cemetery: In the old section: West Hill Lot 158 Gann, William H. 1850 - 1912 [joint marker with Sarah below] Gann, Sarah Joiner 1866 - 1931 In the new section: C45 James, Charlie E. 31 Oct 1888 - 18 Feb 1920 [Woodmen of the World marker] James, Mattie B. 16 Jan 1889 - 13 Jul 1978 Gann, Lucille J. 24 Feb 1911 - 27 Aug 1986 Lot E34 Huff, Tiller B. 3 Mar 1890 - 27 Mar 1926 Huff, Eula B. 3 Mar 1895 - 5 Feb 1986 Wread, M.L. 10 May 1874 - 6 Apr 1965, Architect Wread, Ester May 17 Feb 1893 - 13 Aug 1983, Mother Hall, Mary Elizabeth 30 Sep 1899 - 29 Apr 1994 Hall, Ava Harris 30 Jun 1880 - 21 Apr 1934 Hall, Beverly W., M.D. 9 Feb 1865 - 10 Dec 1939 Hall, Linnie Gann 25 Dec 1863 - 4 May 1935, Mother Lot F19 Martin plot Potter, ______ [Note: marker face down & unreadable] Deason, Lucius H. 1876 - 1955 Deason, Estelle M. 1890 - 1981 Martin, J.
