Hi Lists, I have purchased a 2 volume set titled "THE 1890 CHERKOEE NATION CENSUS INDIAN TERRITORY (OKLAHOMA)" transcribed by Barbara Benge. These books are wonderful and are INDEXED. If you have ancestors who moved to this area prior to the 1890 census I would be glad to do lookups for you. My 2x great grandfather moved to the Indian Territory from Paulding County, GA in the late 1880's. It was first thought that he had died prior to 1890 but he is listed on this census.
