Catherine, I hope this is the one you mean. There are two more cemeteries in Clarke Co. where Lesters & other families are buried, but this is the only one AHS found that was called the LESTER Cemetery. This info came from the book of cemeteries published by Athens Historical Society in 1999. LESTER CEMETERY GMD 241 - Location #6 Driving directions: From the Loop 10 overpass on the Atlanta Highway (Hwy. 78/29), proceed 8/10 mile west on the Atlanta Highway to Cleveland Road. Turn north (right) onto Cleveland Road, travel ½ miles, and cross railroad tracks. Just after crossing tracks, turn right onto paved private driveway. Cemetery is located behind 840 Cleveland Road, up the hill in field. The original transcription was done in the 1980s by COGS and the transcriber had added information from family research. Four markers shown on the original transcription could not be found later.
