A note on the Lester Cemetery, in response to Eva's note. There is an old iron fence or remnants of one in the cemetery, family says that is where Lewis and Elizabeth Patman Lester are buried. The cemetery was vandalized in 1981 after the family had cleaned it and fenced it. That could be why some graves could not be found in 1994. When the cemetery was vandalized the fence was cut, tombstones broken and the iron fence around Elizabeth and Lewis graves bent and torn down. The cemetery had been restored by family members only a year before.
