They resided in Clarke County. I have been told that a Richard C. Wilson III compiled a book entitled An Eighth Generation Genealogy and a copy is located at the University of Georgia Library in Athens. Also, according to a family researcher (no longer living), his papers on the Wilson/Holmes family are also archived there. If anyone can help me locate this information, I will be most appreciative and will gladly pay for the information in this book and papers. Other brothers of Richard resided in Jackson County (Robert Wilson), and Lumpkin County (John Wilson).
