Edward Conner b.1793, who married Rebecca Cook in Clarke Co., GA, 12 Apr 1813 was my GGGGrandfather. The information that I have shows that he was a lawyer in Athens, Clarke Co. When he and his son-in-law, Thomas H. Stephens (my GGGrandfather) joined the Confederate Army, Rebecca and their daughter, Mary Ann C. Stephens, moved to Fayetteville, Fayette Co., GA. My GreatGrandmother, Sarah was born there to Mary Ann and Thomas 27 May 1863. Thomas died 30 Sept. 1863 in Savannah, GA., while still in the Army. He was buried in Fayetteville. Edward Conner joined them there after the War. He died in 1869. I don't know if this will help you any but now I'll see if I can find any info on Daniel and Martha Conner...I'll let you know. Keep me posted.
