By coincidence, I am just finishing up my family book on this side of the family, and am trying to get it out for Christmas. I am more than happy to share what info. I have. Do you by chance have additional information on the Cicero Maughon/Betty Hill side of the family? I have heard that there is a Cherokee Indian connection on this side of the family but I haven't been able to determine who it is yet.....Do you have birthdates for Betty Hill's siblings? Do you know what Cicero's middle name was "M."? I know that Cicero Maughon was an overseer for the cotton pickers on the Williamson Farm (not slaves because it was after the Civil War). There is a picture of him sitting on a horse named "Sloan" on the Williamson Farm and also pictured are the black laborers picking the cotton. I believe the year is 1893 but I'd have to look it up to make sure. Anything you can tell me about this side would be greatly appreciated.
