    3. Can anyone tell me what happened to Ed (Edgar, perhaps Edward, Edmo(u)nd) and his wife, Louia/Lovica(E) Chancey after their December, 1880, marriage was recorded in Oconee County, Georgia? I have read the 1900 Soundex for Georgia without finding any clues to their whereabouts after 1880. Who were her parents? I have also checked the Clarke and Oconee County, Georgia, cemetery books in the Clayton library in HOuston. I would like a list of thier children. A great uncle told me some years ago that some Uncle Ed Toole's descendents were atill in the Athens area. One was supposedly killed in a store robbery and the shooter only got seven years. Maybe around 1911 or so. The Tooles were listed on the 1880 census of Oconee County, Georgia. They moved over to Georgia after 1870 from Barnwell District, South Carolina. I have never been able to determine why they came to this section of Georgia instead of going farther west to other places like Texas.I have a double Toole line from one of his brothers and a sister. Pierce Columbus Toole m. Amanda Crow 1875 BK A Page 1 Oconee County, Georgia Albert moved back to Aiken County, South Carolina, and married Frances Heath Harriet A/Ann (Hattie A.) m. 1875 Joseph Vinson Durham Agnes m. 1875 Frank Barnett(e) The sisters supossedly had a double wedding in the forks of the river (Oconee?)at a little place called Carey. Sisters marriages recorded in Greene County, Georgia I have lots of other oole information back to c. 1735 Chowan Precinct, North Carolina and am now trying to fill in a few of the blanks spaces. Any assistance appreciated. Vivian Toole Ctes, Rt. #2 Box 52-A, Alto, Texas 75925 1-936-858-3801
