REFERENCE: EMERICKS in Athens, Clarke County, Georgia. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for Your Help and Information. These are the EMEREICK's that I've been looking for. I was Born and Raised in Jackson County, Georgia. My Grandfather Richard EMBRICK, was Born as Richard EMERICK in Athens, Clarke County, Georgia in 1895. His Father William EMERICK ABANDONED Him and his Two Brothers and a Sister About 1905, Went to Anderson County, South Carolina, Changed His Last name to EMERY, Married again and Raised Another Family, CONFESSING to His Athens Family on his Death Bed in 1941. I am now Living in Copperas Cove, Texas, and have been Investigating and Unraveling the EMBRICK/EMERICK Genealogy for the Past 18-Months. I have Found My Grandfather's Older Brother Thomas EMERICK, and His Sister Beulah Mae EMERICK, BUT STILL HAVE NOT FOUND His Youngest Brother George (Dewey) EMERICK, who was Born in 1898 in Athens, and was About 7-Years Old when His Father ABANDONED the Family.
