Josiah C. Garrett married Susannah Atkinson on Dec. 20, 1825 in Clarke Co., Ga. Josiah Garrett died Sept. 8, 1847 and Susannah died Sept. 28, 1848 in Henry Co., GA (I believe). Their daughter, Martha Sarah Garrett, b. 4 Dec 1830, married Jeptha Pullen on 10 Aug 1876 in Henry Co., GA. My theory is that Martha Garrett Pullen had siblings that were orphaned when her parents died......James Marcellus (family stories say James was born in DeKalb Co.GA), John, William, S.A. (a female) and Elizabeth. There is nothing in Henry Co., GA in the form of will/probate/guardianship. I found these Garrett children living with Augustus Webb in the 1850 census in Randolph Co., GA and later in 1860 census living in Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA. My theory is that these Garrett children may be related to Josiah and Susannah Garrett who both died before 1850. Just a theory mind you, no proof yet. Looking for descendants of this couple.
