I received some helpful info today from the Baptist Archives: The was a Mount Peliar/Pelier (also known as Montpelier and Mt. Olives) Baptist Church in Baldwin County which was constituted around 1797. Because of the time period, I would think that this is your match. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, the records from this church have never been microfilmed.
