In the very early 1800s, my ancestor Abel SPARKS and his wife, Elizabeth BENGE, left North Carolina and moved to Georgia with three children: David, Lydia, and Uriah. After their move to Clarke Co., they had several more children: Sarah, born 1803; Mabry or Marberry, born 1805; Elizabeth, born abt 1805; Ettienne, born abt 1807; Thomas, born abt 1809; and Matthew, born abt 1810. By the 1820s the family had moved on to Fayette County, then later on to other Georgia counties. If you have any information on this family, please contact me. Kim
