March 21, 1999 Miss Julia Knight Miss Julia Knight, 91, former resident of Wood Glen Apartments, died Friday at Hospice LaGrange following a lengthy illness. Miss Knight, the daughter of the late Herman Mier and Addie Virginia Hopson Knight, was born Dec. 17, 1907 in Heard County. She was a former medical assistant and also a former employee of the Hillside Plant of Callaway Mills Company. A former resident of Ottumwa, Iowa, Miss Knight had lived in LaGrange since 1988 and was a member of Dunson Baptist Church. Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Edna and Lee Sanders, two sisters-in-law, Anna Mae Knight and Lillie Knight, all of LaGrange and several nieces and nephews. The family will be at the home of her sister-in-law and her family, Anna Mae Knight and Bobbie Jean and Carris Erquitt at 718 Azalea Drive. Graveside services for Miss Knight will be held in Hillview East Cemetery at 4 p.m. today with the Rev. Hope Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. today. Belinda [email protected]
