Seeking information on Alexander TORRY (1776-1835) and his wife Phalby (Phereby) HORN (c 1788-?) who were married in Hancock County, Georgia c 1802. Alexander TORRY and possibly his father James TORRY drew blanks in the 1805 Georgia Land Lottery from Hancock County. Alexander TORRY (or TORREY as it is sometimes spelled) was born in North Carolina. Phalby HORN was the daughter of Jesse HORN (c 1764-?) and Priscilla EADS. John HORN (c 1790-March 11, 1858) was a brother to Phalby HORN. Alexander TORRY and his wife Phalby HORN TORRY later moved to Clarke County, Georgia and then about 1817 moved to Monroe County, Alabama. Phalby HORN TORRY died in Sumter County, Alabama.
