Found Clarke Co., GA will Book 1803-1822 and 1822-1842 Entries re: Adam Maybary(?mabry) will with mention of orphans, to be adm. by my ?gggGrandfather Jordan Thornton. Does anyone have any further information or connections with these thornton's and mabry's? I have not been able to get a clear connection between Jordan and my ggGrandfather Horatio Marion Thornton b. 1838 in Meriweather Co., GA. Dates fit but that is all I have other than family legend. The info I do have has Jordan as a son-in-law to Adam Poole Mabry with his marriage to Jemima Thorne Mabry. If anyone can help clear this up for me I would sure appreciate it.
