I don't believe that our anscestors connect, at least directly, so I do not have any information for you. Jackson, of course, is such a common name that even with the first name of John, it is difficult to definitively conclude that the John Jackson of Clarke County is my (or your) J.J. If your John had siblings named James, Nancy or Elizabeth, there might be a better chance, although I noticed that your John would have had to be born before 1745 to be Ambrose's son. However, there is the possibility that my John B. was the son or grandson of your John. Although this line of research is probably a dead end, I would appreciate your input if you come across new information. I'll do the same. BTW, I have not been able to get further back than John B. who was born in the 1770s.
