Our Bartons were from SC and Ga. Mary Mildred Adams married Joseph T. Barton in Elbert Co., Ga., 14 May 1850. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Adams and Mary Mildred Flournoy. Nathaniel Adams was born on Springfield Plantation, White Bluff, Ga. Mary Mildred Flournoy was the daughter of Major Flournoy and Mary Mildred Cobb, of the Clarke Co. Cobbs. Her sister married James Habersham. I would like to know who Mary Mildred Cobb's parents were. Does anyone have any info on this family?? Thanks for any help you can give me. D.
