I actually went to the cemetery myself about a month ago! I went on the weekend so the folks weren't their to talk to. This Cemetery is huge!!!!!!!!! It is right next to the GA University in Athens. Many of the headstones are very old and it isn't kept up very well. I did see they have been in the process of working on cleaning it up some. I found over 16 graves that belong to relatives of mine that I didn't know were buired their! Small world, huh? Mainly POPE graves, so if anyone had POPES let me know and I can send you the transcription of the graves, or if you want me to send it to the list, I can do that too:) Let me know what I can do for anyone in regards to this cemetery.
