Thomas Willoughby, first born of William Willoughby b. 1759 REV soldier. Thomas left Clark County and moved to Chambers County, Alabama around 1835. The following is from Chambers County Tract Book, by Ruth Crump and Cemeteries of Chambers County. Both books are published by the Historical Association. Thomas Willoughby bought 40 Acres of Land in Section 10, Township 24, Range 25 12 Dec 1836. # of Certificate of warrent is 5885. Thomas McLendon bought 120 Acres one month before this. Thomas and Aggie are buried in New Hope Christian Church, The First Christian Church in Alabama, organized by Rev Wyche MNalone Jenkins Elder 19 Jan 1850.
