Witness that the said Williby his heirs and assignees for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars to them in hand well and duly paid by the said Solomon Burford his heirs and assignees at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the whereof is hereby acknowledged by them hath granted, bargained, sold and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell release and conform unto the said Solomon Burfort his heirs and assignees all that part of track of land lying and being in the said county of Clark on the Waters of the Oconee River beginning at a red oak corner on Mathews line running South 75 chains to a red oak Fence W. 39 chains to a red oak thence N 75 chains to the beginning Red oak containing by Survey 316 acres more less together with all the singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said tract of land being belonging or in any wise appertaining. And the remainder profits thereof, and of every part thereof to have and to hold the said track of land and all belonging as aforesaid, and every part thereof, unto the said Solomon Burford his heirs and assignees to the only proper Benefit and Behalf of the said Solomon Berford and his heirs and for every and the said William Williby and his heirs the said tract of land aforesaid and ever part thereof unto the said Solomon Burford his heirs and assignees again him the said William Williby and heirs shall will warrant and forever defend by these present in witness where the said William Williby hath hereunto set his hand and Seal the day and year first above written Sealed and delivered in the presence of Leonard Burford Nehemiah Scoggen William Clark JP Signed William Williby (Mark) Recorded 26 Jan 1807 Clark County, Georgia Deed Book C, page 324-5
