Margaret may have been a full blooded Indian. Recent data indicates Asa may have been born in North Carolina, and may have a brother named Amos who went to Kentucky. Asa & Margaret had a son named Asa Amos, birth date uncertain, but probably between 1808 and 1820. I have six other children listed for them. Asa/Margaret are my 7th generation ancestors.
