My research concerns Francis Loyall from Virginia and an officer in the Revolutionary Army. He is buried in GA. His widow, Elizabeth Hicks Loyall, married Nicholas Baker in Clarke Co about 1813; they moved to Jasper Co, GA and soon after, to Tuscaloosa, AL. Margaret Frances (Peggy) Loyall, daughter of Fancis and Elizabeth Hicks Loyall, is my gg grandmother; she was married to Charles Baker of Tuscaloosa, AL following the War of 1812,----about 1816-1817.
