Searching for information about the Theron Monroe Family. Theron MONROE (1814 - 1878) married 24 Mar 1836 to Mary S KELLY. They are believed to be the parents of William S ( born circa 1837); Sarah E (born circa 1839); Martha J (born circa 1842); Emily H (born circa 1848); Josephine (born 1855); and Laura J. (born circa 1857) Laura J. Monroe 1st married Alonzo GAGE. Their children were; D Harrison born about 1878; Homer Gordon born about 1880, and Theron Monroe Gage born 20 Apr 1880. Laura's second husband was King Phillips. Mary KELLY-MONROE lived with her daughter after Theron's dearth. Mary's sister Elizabeth married Thomas MONROE son of Jesse & Martha MONROE. Thomas and Elizabeth were residents of Tennessee in 1870 and before 1880 had moved to AR near Elizabeth's brother Dr. Jesse R Kelly, her sister Sarah Kelly ELLIS, and half sisters; Louiza, Elmina, & Malinda. Another brother Joseph Kelly was killed by Bushwhackers in 1863. Mary's remaining siiblings apparently remained in the Forsyth area. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
