I've "rescued" an old photograph of G. S. GROGAN which was taken at the Gardner Studio in Atlanta, Georgia. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with the young man appearing to be in his 20's. In addition to his name someone has also written "bro W. P. GROGAN" suggesting that he was a brother to W. P. GROGAN. Thanks to the help of a GROGAN Family Researcher I believe that this is a photograph of George S. GROGAN, b. 1866, GA, and reference is being made to his brother William P. GROGAN, b. 1864 Cherokee County, GA, who were sons of James Webb GROGAN and Grace KING GROGAN. I am hoping to locate someone from the family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to family.
