I had to make an emergency trip out of town. During this time someone called on the list to do a roll call. That in itself is fine. It gets the surnames that are being researched out to everyone. For those who are unaware, you leave a list the same way you get on it. You send a message to GACHEROK-L-request@rootsweb.com . The only thing different is you put 'unsubscribe' in the body of the message. This makes it easy when you go on vacation, you can remove yourself untill you get back. As a policy, I never add anyone manually for these reasons. If you know how to subscribe and unsubscribe, then it is easy on you. Please continue your research, and if you wish to respond to any of the roll call messages, please do. Looks like some folks are discovering each other. Now if I could only find some of my WYNN/BRAND/KIRK/MANGUM-MANGRAM lines I would be happy. Sometime I think my ancestors died without leaving any descendants. <gbg> Except me.
