LAY--Mary Emaline Lay Johnson was a daughter of David Lay (1804-1839) (Jackson County) and Epsey LANDRUM (1801-1838) (SC) CRUISE--Polly Cruise was wife of John F. Johnson (1799-1862), probable father of George Torrance Johnson; Jackson Co., Ga. FOWLER--Elizabeth Adeline Fowler Johnson's (1849-1892) parents were David and Elizabeth Fowler, from S.C.
