Married Dec 21, 1858 Cumming GA, Levi's Father and Mother: Sampson and Eleres Clayton. Levi's siblings were Issac Lemmons Clayton and Martha Clayton. (Forsyth County, GA) Levi and Nancy's children: *1) Madison Alfonzo B. 1861 married Annie E. Colbert B. 1863. - *2) Malitda B. 1862 married Marion (Bud) Covington. - *3) Francis Marion B. 1863 married JoAnn Ellington, - *4) Luther LaFayette B. 1865 married Ava Rilla Riley. - *5) William Levi B. 1866 married Ophelia Elizabeth Lummus. - *6) Jesse Marcellus B. 1869 married Kansas Adeline. - *7) Mahaleyan E. Don't know if she ever married. Levi enlisted in Company C Cherokee Legion (Ga) Infantry (Cherokee Home Guards) Promoted to 5th sgt 11-9-1863 amd detailed 1-1-1864. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.
