I am thinking that Alfred M. is Alexander's brother...there is also a Powell...think they are all brothers. Alfred M. was captured and later joined the North...I have his confederate records, but not his northern ones yet. Alexander and Powell were both killed. I have both their Confederate records. Alexander died at Culpepper Courthouse and Powell died at Fairfax Courthouse. What I don't have is a burial place for any of them.
