Donald, Sorry I wasn't clearer in my response. Milton County did lose some of their county records. However, records of the Court of Ordinary (now, Probate Court) and Superior Court from about 1867 through 1931 were microfilmed and are available at the Georgia Archives and the LDS Library in Salt Lake. These include wills, other estate records, marriages and deeds. It's my understanding that some of their original records were transferred to the Atlanta History Center. However, I believe Fulton County still has the originals of many of the records. Some of the clerks at the courthouse may not be aware they have the records as I think the records are off site at their records center and it takes a few days for them to get records from their records center.
