    3. Following is the earliest census record I can locate on my great-grandparents and their young family, I am sending this to several lists I have joined and apologize if you get it more than once. From this census info, it appears my ggrandfather, Robbert Wilkins, was born about 1852-1853 somewhere in Alabama. His father was born in SC and his mother in NC, but I don't know either of their names. My ggrandmother, Frances M. FLOYD (Fannie), was born also about 1852-1853 in Alabama. Her father was born in SC and her mother in AL, but I don't know their names either. I am hoping to find my ggrandfather and ggrandmother, possibly at age 7-9 years in an Alabama census with their unknown parents. If anyone could help, I would appreciate it. About 4 years ago, someone on one of these lists did give me the information I was looking for on my ggrandfather Robbert Wilkins and his parents, but shortly after two things happened: my computer crashed and I crashed. I have another computer and I am healthy once again, but the information I was given seems to be lost forever. 1880 Township 7, Cherokee County, Alabama Page 264A Relation Sex Marr Race Age Birthplace Robbert WILKINS Self M M W 27 AL Farmer Fa: SC Mo: NC Francis M. WILKINS, age 1 yr 3 mos, b LA. Sometime after 1910, this family moved to the Lufkin/Nacogdoches area of TX where, for now, it appears they remained. With info from the 1910 Bossier Parish census, it would appear that Julis/Julius "Pete" Wilkins and his wife Minda ? were in AL in 1898-1900 range since 11 yr old son Grady born there; By about 1903-1905, they were in LA since 6 year old Fannie was born there as were the next 2 children Ella and Roy. 2.) AR (most likely Eudora area), but James Franklin WILKINS is buried at Rocky Mount Presbyterian Cemetery in Bossier Parish, LA next to his brother John William WILKINS. If anyone recognizes anything here or if you are a part of this family, or if you can add to what little I know PLEASE PLEASE let me know. If I can further anyone else's research in the Bossier Parish, LA area just let me know, I will certainly do what I can! Other family surnames, in addition to WILKINS, are LOCKEY, HOOKER, FLOYD, URQUHART, METHVIN, and MURPHY - for now...... Thanks so much for any help available. Brenda Wilkins Hudson
