    3. Wally, Thanks for the info on the church's location. Hate that you busted my bubble about visiting the grave yard. I just this week received a copy of the publications you mentioned listing his obit with the cemetery. Really hoped to find something on the stone. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wally McCollum" <mccollumw@comcast.net> To: <GACHEROK-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, October 02, 2005 3:26 PM Subject: Re: [GACHEROK-L] BIG SPRINGS > Big Springs Methodist Cemetery is east of Canton in Cherokee County. 3. Shirley's research was very thorough, so I doubt that she overlooked his tombstone. I see his family was in Jackson County in 1860, but I couldn't find him on later censuses. In 1870 his sons Oliver and John lived together in Clay County Alabama. His son David was married and was living in the Gritter District of Cobb County. I couldn't find is wife, Elizabeth or his son Morgan, either. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mickey Watts" <ma.watts@comcast.net> To: <GACHEROK-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, October 02, 2005 4:41 PM Subject: Re: [GACHEROK-L] BIG SPRINGS > Wally, > Thanks for the info on the church's location.
