    2. I have a Lydia A Martin and a Mary Martin who married into my McCollum family in the 1830s in Habersham County, Georgia. Both were born in South Carolina. At least one of the family's removed to Cherokee County in the 1840s. I'll check my records when I get home, but I know I haven't had any real success in tracing the Martin ancestry, but always assumed Lydia and Mary were sisters. W.
