Hey Rebecca: This uncle you had not met, the one you met in Gainesville was George Adams, the baby of the family and brother to Lamar and my mother. I have been busy with genealogy and making local one day trips to libraries and courthouse gathering information. I got a copy of James Adams will and posted it to my website. I also got copies of land grants from Nathaniel Reid in Caswell County NC. I took pictures and posted it all on the website. In October, i will be going to another family reunion for the Allison line in Brevard NC. I am so looking forward to this. They will have about 500 to 600 people there and several genealogist that have done the Adams line. I hope to find some new information.
