In researching a relative who was born around 1846-1848, I found two documents showing his place of birth. One states he was born "near Stone Mountain, close to Atlanta Georgia". The other says he was born in Forsyth County. Can anyone tell me where Stone Mountain is, and if it is in, or close to Forsyth County? Also, there are two documents showing where his confederate army company surrendered after the war. One appears to say it was " near Madison Georgia", the other says "at Murphysburg Georgia" Can anyone clarify? Thanks for any help you can offer....June M
