Trying to find the family of William L. FLOYD and his wife, Tabitha BURTON, my GG Grandparents. In 1860 they show up in the Flatwood District of Floyd County with children: Frances B. (B. 1843), Joshua (B. 1847), Pauline (B. 1849), Minerva (B. 1852), Benja. (B. 1857), Perry (Born 1859). In 1880 they are listed in Summerville, Chattooga County with the following children: Mary Rebecca(age 25), Caroline (age 19), Bartow S. (age 15), and Thomas Benjamin (age 23). I have information on some of these last children, but am looking for burial places, marriage info on children, and other family information. They lived on Lookout Mountain during the Civil War while William L. was gone to war. Anyone recognize this family? I'd love to share what I have learned, and gather new information.
