Gus Johnson was responsible for the killing of our family slave Green Foster. It was one of the most noted murders in Chattooga Co, GA. He was killed by the KKK and Gus Johnson admitted to the crime. He wasn't convicted of this crime, despite all efforts by our family to have him convicted. He was later hung after killing a black ferryman on the Coosa. I believe all his other bros were hung too and his father was murdered and no one ever admitted to that crime. They harassed my family quite a bit. SD
