This great piece was purchased recently at an estate sale in Savannah, Georgia. Although the family is not identified, the image was represented as a confederate family taken soon after the civil war when there were many left starving and destitute. In any event, a great image! The tintype measures 5 ½” x 4 ¼” and is tinted with blue and gold. The image is in fairly good condition Susan Marshall
