I'm searching for any family connections or information relating to the marriage between Herbert Lee WOOD and Louise AMBOS of Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia. The only dates that I have are for Louise's father, George Henry Ambos (b.November 29, 1878 -- d. May 02, 1947). I'm guessing that Louise was born between 1898 - 1918. I can offer no other information on the Wood side of the family, except for the names of their children: Sylvia Ann, Bobbie Louise, Herbert Lee, Caren Josephine and George Ambos. I think the AMBOS family is either in the seafood business or shrimpping business in Savannah. There are AMBOS's in the phone book - all kin to one another.
