The way that I look at our early ancestors, they are the seeds of our existance that were planted and tended with loving care, tilling and clearing the land for future generations to come, to have a better life than they had. They were very brave people to leave their families and come down south to a wilderness to settle the area. They were very hard workers, who were not afraid to work hard, and take care of large families. Just imagine how it must have been to take care of such large families...I don't think many of us would be very rich, if we had anywhere from 8 to 12 children, to take care of today. I am sure that they were active in their churches, communities or special meetings of Spiritual guidance to worship and commune with their God or Higher Power. I highly respect and have the highest amount of admiration for all our early ancestors...they were too busy working, to write histories...I am sure they had many interesting stories to tell. That is most likely how they chose one representative to represent the group as a "Whole." Eleanor >
