Researching the family of George Lafayette Robertson b. 1809 St. Bartholomew's Parish in Colleton Dist, SC. He married Rebecca Susan Johnston and they resided in Savannah, GA. It has been family tradition that George owned a grocery stand at the old Savannah Market and the Rebecca was a seamstress. George died prior to the Civil War and Rebecca was still living in Savannah during the 1860 federal census. Any assistance would be appreciated. Jim Langford
